Calgary joins Stockholm and 2 Italian cities on International Olympic Committee 2026 Winter Games short-list

Calgary has made the short-list for the 2026 Winter Games. The International Olympic Committee revealed Calgary is one of three cities in contention. The others are Stockholm, and a joint bid by two Italian cities. The IOC is set to vote next September, but whether Calgary puts forward a bid is still unclear. It will hold a public vote next month on whether to proceed.
