Russia foreign minister Lavrov calls spy charges against Russian woman fabricated, demands Butina be released

Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov has called on U.S. secretary of state Mike Pompeo to release a Russian woman arrested on espionage charges in the United-States. Lavrov says the accusations against Maria Butina were fabricated. Prosecutors say the gun-rights campaigner is a Russian agent whose mission was to infiltrate various Republican organizations.
