'A major fail': Ex-ambassador to China says Montreal Pride should have protected Hong Kong activists

The former Canadian ambassador to China, David Mulroney, says Montreal Pride should have protected a group of pro-democracy Hong Kongers instead of banning them from the parade earlier this month. A group of activists was allowed, then banned, after unspecified threats on social media and in emails.
