The Trump administration moved to officially ban bump stocks. The rapid-fire gun attachments became a focal point of the gun control debate after they were used in the Las Vegas massacre in 2017 when a gunman shot into a crowd at a country music concert, killing 58 people. Now the devices will be banned beginning in late March of next year.
