BBC: Ex Russian spy living in UK critically ill after exposure to 'unknown substance'

Police in Britain are investigating the possible poisoning of a former Russian military intelligence officer, and a woman he was with. Craig Holden, with Wiltshire police, says the two are in critical condition in intensive care. Sources have told Reuters, one of the victims is Sergei Skripal, who was convicted in 2006 of spying for Britain. He was later swapped for Russian spies caught in the United States.
