Lack of crash test dummy diversity fuels a safety gap between men and women

A new study finds women are far more likely than men to be seriously injured or die in a car crash even though cars are safer than ever. A big reason for the discrepency is because automotive safety tests are conducted almost exclusively with crash test dummies modelled after men.
