Aussie snowboarder survives avalanche thanks to inflatable backpack

Tom Oye, an Australian snowboarder is crediting an airbag backpack he received as a gift last month for saving his life on the slopes. The aussie says the bag helped him survive an Avalanche. The backpack acts like a personal airbag in emergencies and can range in cost from $500-$1300.
