MPs give themselves and House officers a $25M boost to office budgets

MPs and other officers of Parliament are giving themselves a $25-million office budget boost. The increases will take effect April 1, 2016, CBC News has learned. The 20 per cent increase to MP’s office budgets means each MP will get an additional $57,690 tacked onto their current budget of $288,450.
