
Iraq's prime minister promised a basic income to poor families after three days of deadly protests against poverty and corruption. Adel Abdel Mahdi said he heard the 'rightful' demands in their anger but warned there are no 'magic solution' to Iraq's problems. At least 30 people have been killed.
