Former Nova Scotia premier John Buchanan has died at age 88. A Progressive Conservative, Buchanan served as the premier from 1978 to 1990. MLAs paid tribute to him, recalling a 'master campaigner and skilled politician,' and a great storyteller with an incredible ability to connect with Nova Scotians.
