U.K. MPs vote to block 'no-deal' Brexit, deny PM bid for early election

BRITAIN-EU/

U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been dealt a double blow after the House of Commons voted to block a 'no-deal' Brexit and then denied the PM's motion calling for an early election. Johnson has insisted Britain would leave the European Union on October 31st 'come what may', deal or no deal, but opposition parties and Tory rebels have now passed a bill that requires him to seek a delay if no agreement is reached.
