'I'd rather be dead in a ditch than delay Brexit': UK PM insists on election as brother is latest Tory to quit

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson insists on having an election, saying he would rather be "dead in a ditch" than delay Brexit. He believes it's the only way solve the impasse over Britain leaving the European Union on October 31st. His brother Jo Johnson quit as minister and Tory MP saying he was "torn between family loyalty and the national interest." Yesterday, MPs rejected the PM's bid to call a snap election and voted to stop him from going ahead with a 'no-deal' Brexit.
