Supreme Court of Canada convicts man barred from cross-examining victim due to rape shield law

The conviction of a man who had his sexual-assault conviction repealed by the Ontario Court of Appeal has been restored by the Supreme Court of Canada. The man had argued the rape shield law had prevented him from defending himself properly.
