
Bill C-69, which reviews major resource projects such as pipelines before they can be approved, passed Senate approval on Thursday 57-37. The Liberals accepted about half the amendments proposed, which angered Conservative MPs. They have dubbed Bill C-69 the 'no pipelines bill.' It now needs Royal Assent.
