Mafia-linked Salvatore Scoppa killed in shooting at Sheraton Hotel in Laval

A man with known ties to the Montreal Mafia has died after a shooting at the Sheraton Hotel in Laval. Quebec provincial police confirmed the victim is Salvatore Scoppa, 49.
