An American climber died on the descent from the summit of Mount Everest, Monday. He was one of a record number of people aiming for the top of the world's highest mountain. The 61-year-old lawyer is at least the eleventh person to die this year. Many of the deaths have been linked to altitude sickness and exhaustion, made worse by a crowded route to the top. Last week, climbers became stuck in A queue at 26,000 feet on the way to the summit.
