China points to SNC-Lavalin case to advocate for Huawei exec's release

China has questioned Canada's judicial independence in wake of the SNC-Lavalin controversy. Chinese authorities have argued for the release of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou and have targeted Prime Minister Justin Trudeau previous statement that the government cannot interfere with the judicial system.
