Canada's western mountains will see a big melt in the next fifty years with 80% of mountain glaciers in Alberta, B.C. and Yukon disappearing, say researchers in the first ' State of the Mountains' report. Less snow and a rapid melt in warmer climes will cause the glaciers to recede dramatically.
