Canadian held in Beijing on suspicion of harming security says China

Canadian Michael Kovrig is detained in China on suspicion he will harm the country's security, says state run media in Beijing. Kovrig is a former Canadian diplomat who works for the International Crisis Group. The Foreign Ministry says if Kovrig is not registered, his ICG work would be illegal.
