18 killed by flash flood in Jordan, many victims were students on a field trip

Heavy rains caused flash flooding in Jordan today sweeping away dozens of people including students and teachers on a field trip near the Dead Sea. At least 18 people were killed and dozens were injured. At least 34 people have been rescued so far. The Israeli military dispatched a search and rescue team to help out.
