Ontario legislature holding rare midnight sitting, Sunday, to push bill to cut size of Toronto council

Ontario's legislature is holding a rare midnight sitting to try to push through a bill to cuts the size of Toronto city council nearly in half. Premier Doug Ford's government asked the lieutenant-governor to reconvene the house. Ford is pushing back against a court decision last week called his move unconstutiional. The bill makes will use the "notwithstanding clause" in the constitution to overide the court decision.
