Mississauga Ont.'s visible minorities seek breakthrough in municipal election

The Mississauga Ont. population has 57% visible minorities but not one of them was elected to the city's 11 council seats in 2014. Now Safeeya Faruqui, a 24-year old rookie politician, hopes to make history by becoming the first woman of colour elected to the council.
