Night sky to reveal close encounter with Mars

Mars dust storm

Step outside on Tuesday around 10 p.m. and look to the southeast. There, you’ll find a bright red object in the sky: Mars. And it’s the closest it’s been since 2003. The Red planet's dust storm, which has obscured it, is coming to an end, NASA says.
