Macron calls for strong multilateral cooperation to face challenges

The President of France decried isolationism and nationalism in an address to a joint session of the U.S. Congress and called for the United States to lead the world in a new multilateral effort to preserve democracy. Emmanual Macron also called for free and fair trade and protection of the planet.
