U.S. allies seeking exemption from steel, aluminum tariffs

American allies around the world are seeking exemptions from Donald Trump's tariffs on U.S. steel and aluminum imports. He has already granted exemptions to Canada and Mexico, temporarily at least. Producers in China are calling on their government to retaliate in kind.
