UN calls for investigation into Palestinian deaths, injuries at Gaza-Israel border blockade protest

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is calling for an investigation of deaths and injuries in Gaza on Friday. The U.N. released a statement late Friday evening, saying medical facilities in Gaza are struggling to cope with the casualties: at least 16 Palestinians killed, and over 1,400 injured by Israeli forces during mass demonstrations by Palestinians against Isreal's blockade of the Gaza strip.
