Handful of homeless Vancouverites turn down housing because of neighbourhood protests

At least five people who have spent years on the streets turned down an offer to live in a new apartment development for the homeless because of the neighbours' protests, the property manager says. The two buildings of temporary, stackable units are located too close to a school, opponents say.
