Scientists move closer to universal cancer detection test

Scientists have made a significant move toward a universal blood test to detect cancer. A trial on 1,005 patients who were known to have eight kinds cancer was 70% effective. New trials are needed to assess the test's effectiveness at detecting early-stage cancers.
