Nebraska has approved the in-state route for the Keystone XL pipeline. In making the decision, regulators focused on whether the pipeline is good for Nebraska in terms of jobs and the economy of the state. Environmental issues are a federal issue and outside its mandate in this final regulatory hurdle.
