The billionaire heir to Samsung, Jay Y. Lee, has been convicted in a Seoul court of multiple crimes, including bribery and sentenced to five years in prison. The bribery scandal brought down president Park Geun-hye after a court ruled that Lee had paid bribes in anticipation of favours from Park.
