New security measures at a highly contested holy site in the Middle East has triggered one of the worst days of Palestinian-Israeli violence in years. In East Jerusalem, a clash with Israeli security forces left three Palestinian protesters dead, and hundreds of others injured. Meantime in the West Bank, three Israeli settlers were stabbed to death.
