UK Conservatives strike deal with DUP to retain power

British PM Theresa May and her Conservative party have reached a deal to ensure the support of Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party. The Conservatives will increase spending in Northern Ireland by the equivalent of $1.68 billion Cdn over two years as part of the deal.
