Dismantling of Confederate statues continues in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS-MONUMENTS/

A statue of Confederate president Jefferson Davis was taken down early this morning in New Orleans. It's the second of four to be removed as part of a move away from Confederate symbols as they're considered by some to glorify the era of slavery in the American south.
