Hate crimes against Muslims in U.S. surged 67% last year, FBI report finds

Not since the Sept. 11 attacks on America have anti-Islamic hate crimes been at such high levels, according to FBI statistics, which show a 67 per cent surge in criminal offences targeting Muslims last year.
