Boeing met federal officials 7 times as often as Lockheed Martin in lead-up to fighter deal

U.S. aircraft-maker Boeing had roughly seven times as many recorded meetings with federal officials since the beginning of the year as rival Lockheed Martin. The figure has raised eyebrows among critics who wonder whether the Liberal government considered anything other than a sole-source interim deal for 18 fighter jets.
